#10 👀 Everyone’s Looking. No One’s Watching.
Build like no one is watching, IRL event in Berlin and how to build a brand that catches attention.
At the Amela Frequency 📡, every Monday, we reflect on tech news, share thoughts from our network ✍️, and hand you tools and frameworks for early-stage builders ⚒️. Basically, if you’re building (or dreaming about it), you’re in the right place.
Hello Amelxs 🌎✨
This week, a few thoughts have been living rent-free in my mind — from the abundance of events to the importance of finding unity in a divided world.
Let’s start with the events overload 🎟️. Between London Tech Week, Founders Forum, and so many other gatherings in Europe, it’s clear the London tech ecosystem is buzzing — full of hype, energy, and ambition. On the other side of the ocean, we were just as busy. In Mexico, we co-hosted a beautiful gathering with Ella Invierte and Mujeres Invertiendo, bringing together women and investors for open, honest conversations. 💬 We also joined GLI, a powerful forum on gender-lens investing in LatAm, celebrated the anniversary of Angel Ventures, one of the region’s pioneering VC firms, and joined the PitchHer event by our friends at ChanyVentures.
At the same time, it’s hard to ignore the global climate. Conflict is rising. Division is loud. And polarization is trending.
Maybe I’m being naïve, but I still believe in building bridges. In being part of something that brings people together — not apart.
That’s always been Amela’s mission: to be an organization that doesn’t just stand for a cause, but creates connection. 💜
And speaking of building — this weekend, Lovable opened up their platform for free, and the internet responded.
People paused what they were doing… and started to build.
We’ve been cheering from the sidelines and training inside Lovable, our builder track.
So if you’ve been waiting for a sign, do check out our Zero to Builder 👷♂️program.
On the lighter side, I’ve been experimenting more on social — this week I dropped a carousel called “3 Must-Listen Smart Girl Podcasts.” 🎧 Turns out, two of the podcasters featured actually replied (!!) — including the amazing Simone from The Bright Side, which brings us to our podcast rec of the week: go give her a listen. You won’t regret it.
And lastly, if you’re in Berlin, mark your calendar: our next in-person gathering is on June 25th. Come hang and get stylish🙌 . And for those joining online, we’ve got two exciting events: a Masterclass on Branding 101 with Valentina from La Valentina Design — the same creative behind Amela’s fresh new look, and an AMA with Elizabeth Yin, founder of the Hustle Fund✨
💌 One last thing: We know our readership might look a little different since we shifted into the Amela frequency, and we’d love to know more about who’s on the other side of this email:

Here’s to staying grounded while everything moves fast. To building when things feel uncertain. To choosing unity over division. 🤝
hugs,
P.S. Yes, women raise capital. Check out who did last week — and give them the applause they deserve. 💸👏
🧠This Week’s Food for Thought
Everyone’s staring at their own screen.📱
So go ahead — post, build, pivot, launch. Most people are too busy thinking about themselves to judge you.
