#08 💅Influence, But Make It Execution
From glow-ups to ownership wins, this week proves it’s not just about having a voice — it’s about knowing exactly what to do with it.
At the Amela Frequency 📡, every Monday, we reflect on tech news, share thoughts from our network ✍️, and hand you tools and frameworks for early-stage builders ⚒️. Basically, if you’re building (or dreaming about it), you’re in the right place.
Hello Amelxs 👋
This week it’s giving era of influence meets execution.
Hailey Bieber just secured a $1B exit two years after launching Rhode. Call it celebrity power, call it perfect timing or whatever you like— it’s also strategy, taste, and knowing how to build a team. She didn’t just sell skincare — she sold a lifestyle, a community and now it’s going global.
Just in: Taylor Swift has officially bought back the rights to her first six albums — which means she now fully owns her entire music catalog. 🎶👑 With an estimated $1.6B net worth (thanks to the Eras Tour), she’s not just a global icon — she’s a self-made billionaire who played the long game and won.
Expect to see her soon in our series: “10 Women You Didn’t Know Were Billionaires.”

The theme this week? Influence with ownership. And it’s showing up everywhere.
I just started watching a show called Sirens, which blends mythology with commentary on the role of women in society — how we’re perceived, how we’re underestimated, and how powerful we can be when we speak (or sing) our truth. If you’re looking for something thought-provoking, this might be it.
And speaking of power: I’m currently in Berlin for SuperVenture, one of the largest VC gatherings in Europe. If you’re around — come say hi! 👋
Meanwhile, over in Spain, South Summit is in full swing. We’ve got a few Amelas attending, so if you’re going, give us a shout. 🌍
Wherever you are — watching, building, investing, dreaming — keep shining.
The future is being shaped by women who know their worth and know how to execute.
hugs,
P.S. Yes, women raise capital. Check out who did last week — and give them the applause they deserve. 💸👏
