#07 📣 The Era of Loud Builders
Women are not just building quietly anymore — they’re showing up, speaking up, and scaling big. From Berlin to Blooms, this week is full of power moves, tech shifts, and sparkly realities.
At the Amela Frequency 📡, every Monday, we reflect on tech news, share thoughts from our network ✍️, and hand you tools and frameworks for early-stage builders ⚒️. Basically, if you’re building (or dreaming about it), you’re in the right place.
Hello Amelxs 👋
We’re entering a new era — one where more women are not just building, but speaking up while doing it.
Not long ago, I struggled to find a single business podcast led by a relatable woman founder. Now? There’s a growing list. Stay tunned on IG since I will surely share that list next week.
The latest to join: Emma Grede, co-founder of Skims, whose first interview with Gwyneth Paltrow is a must-listen 🎧
We’re finally seeing women share the real behind-the-scenes of what it takes — and it’s powerful.
Last week, I also attended GITEX Europe, one of the largest global tech gatherings 🌍
Exhausting? Yes 😅 But deeply energizing too. These rooms are reminders that we’re never building alone. 🤝
And finally — Google’s I/O Conference came with a loud statement: “We’re not backing out of AI.” 🤖 From agents to Gemini Ultra, video + image generation — the next wave is here, and it’s accelerating. 🚀
So whether you’re launching, leading, or just listening — this is the time to lean in.
The future is being built out loud. And more of us are finally in the room. 💪💜
hugs,
P.S. Yes, women raise capital. Check out who did last week — and give them the applause they deserve. 💸👏
🧠This Week’s Food for Thought
I came across this image and we had to turn it into a meme — because this one really hit. Being a founder means doing it all (CEO, intern, ops lead) and still showing up with sparkle. 👛👑
💜Amela Insider
This week, we’re sending a huge congratulations to the team at Blooms — a Mexican startup revolutionizing trade finance for the produce and food supply chain.
They just announced a $2.6M seed round, the round was led by SP Ventures, a leading VC specialized in agritech, with participation from Angel Ventures, The Yield Lab Latam, Eqwow Ventures, Glocal Managers, Mercy Corps Ventures, and others.
This is a team close to our heart — not only because it is a a diverse team, but because they went through our Fundraising Bootcamp🥊. Their success is fully theirs — a reflection of grit, clarity, and persistence — but we’re honored to have played a small part in supporting their journey.
Felicidades, team Blooms! We’re cheering for everything that comes next. 🚀
